as a professional sud’s slinger, at least part’ve my income depend’s on how good i am at giveing reccomendation’s, and this is probably the most frequent question i encounter, so let’s /thread #thread thread., https://twitter.com/lgbtkenobi/status/1304866673615405057
this will be slow cause i ‘m at work, but the number 1 question revolve’s around some1 that might b interested n beer, but can’t seem 2 get past cider’s or light pilsner’s like miller coor’s or bud light, and it’s ok!, ur not alone of this is ur situation,
“drinkable” can b seen as an insult n some circumstance’s, but when it come’s 2 expanding our horizon’s it can b important, and nothing is more drinkable than a good kolsch, preferably 1 made locally,
if ur n this area i highly reccomend endless river kolsch from @MotherEarthBrew, cause we r gonna support local brewer’s and the place’s that sell their product’s now more than ever,
if ur not n the area, make friend’s with the stoner lookin person working at the nearest bottle shop or beer garden, this is gonna b crucial 4 many of the tip’s i drop here, if they r good at their job they won’t judge u 4 not knowing much when u get started, dont b shy,
ok, so, we have tried our 1st local kolsch, fantastic!, there’s nothing 2 b upset at here, if u have 2 ease ur way n 2 these it’s fine, this is the least aggressive beer there is, it’s a stepping stone n our journey, but u will alway’s b happy 2 revisit it on hot summer day’s,
it’s gonna get trickier as we go along, the step’s where we get more dareing will take some adjustment’s, acquireing a taste can take a while, and that’s fine, it’ll pay off n the end,
we r gonna branch out a little bit here, since it’s about accessibility, once u want a little more flavor from a beer than a kolsch provide’s, the next step’s r going 2 b a dark lager, try a local vienna, it’s heavier than bud light, but that’s a good thing,
so while we r trying a more beer flavored beer n a vienna or black lager, we can also try out some wheat beer’s, another style that it’s hard 2 find something u don’t like, these r generally easy 4 most ppl 2 try and enjoy right off the bat,
if ur local i highly reccomend the 1st squeeze from @RaleighBrewing, worth it 2 try this over blue moon, these beer’s tend 2 have a strong fruit element, and r rich, not a bad place 2 b,
b4 we step away from the lagering process, which will b our biggest leap here, i gotta mention marzen’s/festbier’s, which rly might b the pinnacle of brewing, get a good german marzen and u won’t regret it, i promise,
ok, we love our marzen’s, don’t we folk’s, now we r getting somewhere, u like some beer flavored beer’s, so we r gonna dive n 2 ale’s, as gently as possible, with some blonde’s, preferably belgian,
