2. We dont stop learning.
Graduating from medical school can be the end on longest years you will ever spent in one course..but its not end of learning..we learn every day from our senior and our juniors..
So do not throw those books/notes away..

3. Respect everyone even those you might think you know more than them.
During my internship I had an opportunity to learn a lot of things from nurses and ward attendant..who seem to know few thing..but the will teach you a lot..get acquinted with everyone, you will be safe

4. Soon you will be first on call..there are times when you will make mistakes, make poor judgment, neglect, misdiagnose etc..always be sharp to ask for help..we all do ask.
You will not be judged by that..and you will avoid a lot of blunders..

5. Choose wisely where to do your internship.
All hospitals are not the same..some expose you to skills some will equip you with a lot of theory and minimal skills..based on what you want to do in the future/where to work..that should guide choice of the hospital you choose

6. Your “medical skills” are important but social skills are way more important..get well connected..you will need people during and after your intership..your employer can be your HOD..make a good impression
7. Master the basic..
8. Have fun
