2/4 With an average of > 630 #COVID19 cases now being reported daily across 🇨🇦, this metric has ↑ by > 20% compared to last week and > 65% compared to 4 weeks ago, when an average of just >380 cases were reported daily.
3/4 Increased disease activity, poses a risk for accelerated or #exponential epidemic growth. This fast-paced growth, as we experienced during Apr/May, is difficult to control with #TestandTrace and can throw us off the #SlowBurn path.
4/4 Private social gatherings may seem familiar and safe, but when public health guidelines are not followed, these can be “super-spreading events”, sparking #exponential growth.
