$TSLA battery day leaks out of China:
1. Tesla single crystal cathode battery, a lithium ion battery. It uses a new generation of single crystal NMC532 cathodes and a brand-new electrolyte. Lasts 1.6 million km. 4x charge cycles of current batteries.
2. Silicon nanowire anode battery. The weight of the battery cell of this battery will be reduced by half, and the space occupied will be half of the current lithium ion battery. Currently Tesla batteries are about 250Wh/kg, this tech brings you to 400Wh/kg
3. Roadshow of all of the acquisitions has made- Maxwell, Hibar, SilLion. Tour of battery making facilities at Fremont. Hinting at not being dependent on battery suppliers someday.
