We can pretend it's a sacred religion, or we can be realistic & admit our NHS has become an over-bloated mess of administration & waste.
Total lack of accountability with an £81bn outstanding compo bill & nobody held responsible for frequent bouts of mass killing of our elderly.

Invest in training schools for UK doctors/nurses.
Time to end the lucrative locum & agency garbage, where Trusts pay through the nose for basic cover.

Addendum...
When I worked in NHS "budget-building", albeit a fair while ago.
We gave more to depts who overspent, whilst removing budget from those who saved money each year.
They told me it was "historical accounting".
I called it "insanity accounting".
