1. Over the last few days, smoke has filled our homes from burning forests and entire towns destroyed by fire.

We are in a climate crisis. The decisions we make today are vital to our future and our children's future.

2. COVID has shown us what is possible when we work together. This government has demonstrated how a scientific-based, people focused response can lead the world.

We need to move away from fossil fuels expansion, phase out subsidies to the industry, set clear targets for every

3. sector to get to net zero by 2050. And we need to put our support behind workers, Indigenous communities and everyone on the frontlines of the transition. This is the work that I do in my life and what I want to do in Victoria.

As a coalition of social, labour and

4. environment movements, the BCNDP is the best party to lead on climate justice. Together, we can face the challenges of a just transition by putting workers at the centre of it all.
