HUMAN BIO-MECHANICS

Moving is essentially

the single most underrated subject

one needs to understand.
1/
Our joints are made in ways

that allow for both

bilateral- produced by 2 limbs working together

and

unilateral movements- produced by 1 limb.
2/
Pushing movements

involve your

chest(presses, overhead presses)
triceps(pushups, dips)
3/
Pulling movements

involve your

Whole back(Pull-ups, bent over rows, punches)
*Lats
*Traps
*Rhomboids
*Infraspinatus
Biceps(Curls for the girls)
4/
Leg movements

are a bit more complicated

considering they account for

a combination of uni/bilateral movements

namely

lateral hops
vertical jumps
horizontal runs
single-leg movements

all of which include

quads(leg presses, squats)
hamstrings(glute bridges, hip thrusts)
Understanding how and what moves

allows you to not only be more aware

but also paves a way for you to move better.
