when I start getting bad again all of my self care goes out the window, and maybe yours does too, so I was wondering if you’d do these things with me... if you want to rt after doing so maybe you’ll help someone else 👉👈

let’s start easy by getting a glass of water. you’re meant to be drinking two litres a day, but I know that’s not always easy. even drinking a glass could help you to start feeling better tho!!
next I thought we could brush our teeth? I always struggle with this one but after doing it I always feel so refreshed!! your smile is beautiful no matter what though!!
feeling better? okay, I thought we could run a bath or a shower!! hygiene is important and the warm (or cold) water maybe be exactly what you need!! whilst you’re waiting for it to run, how about you text a friend! you could tell them about a new song or move you like!!
if you can’t think of anyone or people are busy I understand, you could always dm me though!! I love finding out about new movies, or even sending animal pics could start a conversation! if I’m not online rn I promise I’ll reply at some point!
okay, hopefully by now your bath or shower is run! spend as much time as you like in there, I find hot baths very comforting! don’t forget to wash your hair and your body, and maybe even shave if you’re feeling up to it!! you’ve got this!!
okay I’m so proud of you for coming this far, grab a towel and make sure you dry yourself properly! get in to some clean clothes or pyjamas (depending on your preference) but make sure you’re comfy!!
I recommend always making your bed! If you do it when you first wake up it’s like you’ve already completed the first task of the day, and if that’s the only thing you’ve done today, then that’s okay! you could always do more tomorrow!
if you’re still going, then we’ll done! I’m aware this is a long thread. if you’re feeling up to it, why don’t you try cleaning up a little. this doesn’t have to be a lot, picking a few clothes up off the floor is progress!
now it’s time to relax! feel free to grab a blanket or duvet and just chill out for a bit! you could watch a movie (and then tell me about it?!), read a book, do some drawing, or even just cuddle with your pets. just aslong as you’re happy!!☺️
