Pushing the idea that cosmetic surgery to create boobs, cross sex hormones, clothes and hairstyles define a woman, shown in the idea that males can transition to change sex, which this film pushes, is misogynistic. It is endorsing gender ideology.

I recommend Janice Raymond The Transsexual Empire: The Making of the She-Male, first published 1979. Note the publication date - 1979 - that is a fair bit before the emergence of the modern TRAs, no?
