The mental acrobatics some folk do to try and defend Marilyn Manson. Just admit that listening to tunes is more important to you than another person's suffering. He wrote *personally* about doing shit just like this in his The Long Hard Road Out of Hell autobiography. I read it.
Marilyn Manson did an interview in 2009 with Spin while promoting that godawful The High End of Low album, admitting to just terrorising Evan Rachel Wood and fantasising about bludgeoning her to death. But in 2009 nobody gave a shit cos it was just "Crazy goth man is weeeiird".
Some folk are saying "Maybe Evan Rachel Wood isn't talking about Marilyn Manson, she might be talking about some other guy." Could be. Or maybe, now just maybe, she means Manson, the guy who talked about how much he wanted to kill her like he was OJ Simpson & wrote songs about it
Watched Marilyn Manson's really crap music video for 'Running to the Edge of the World'. Near the end it shows him with this woman and him just punching fuck out of her. Critics noted that she's styled up to look like Evan Rachel Wood. It's shot in a homemade, found footage style

I've seen Marilyn Manson in concert twice when I was 17 and 19, and I've still had the occasional song on from time to time. But after what Evan Rachel Wood and Esmé Bianco went through I couldn't give a fuck about any if that.
I know for a fact there's a chapter in Marilyn Manson's The Long Hard Road Out of Hell autobiography where he talks about him and Twiggy Ramirez doing immensely suspect shit to a fan backstage.
I had somebody argue how Marilyn Manson's video where he batters a woman done up to look like Evan Rachel Wood was more symbolic than I was making out. It's literally him punching her in the face for like 2 minutes. It isn't on his official youtube either.
Keep finding more and more shit about Marilyn Manson. Like the short film he shot at a house party in 1996 called Groupie, that he has only allowed a handful of people to see.
