I have seen the issue of Afghanistan's Eastern Border also Durand line on time line again. This is not an real issue but made up issue by nationalists to take our attention away from real issues like poverty, ethnic inequality, corruption.
Sadly all all the modern borders in the world including Afghanistan are marked by Russian, British, French and Spanish Colonial Powers. In these games the local parties made deals with these powers in return to support the colonial powers as Afghan Emirs did
How come Afghanistan celebrate its Independence day and call it victory ''Against British'' when at the same time claims territory from the same British which we claim we have defeated in the first place, Surely this is historic flaw.
For 70 years we have trying to take some other's country territory by Force because which we sold our in the first place many times. Doing so we created useless animosity and regional tensions and yet we are not taking any lessons or reading real history.
Nation-State is a flawed concept. we need to learn to live together which sadly Pashton nationalist have not learn. Pashtonistan will be a useless barren landlocked country while in achieving so Afghanistan might become Balkanized itself which i see it becoming.
The most funny thing is Pashton in Pak are doing 100 times better than Pastons of Afg. They have free health and are patriotic towards their country while Pashton in Afghanistan in their nationalism hate Farsibaans to death as their existence is against face of ''Afghan'' State.
I personally hate borders and don't believe in it but if you want to remove borders start by doing it in north and west as we have more common with them, after that i will support your Durand line stance until then a big No
