A person from Mumbai contacted me here on twitter asking I meet & help him. He came down yesterday from Mumbai to meet me. It was pouring cats & dogs, yet he came 150kms from Mumbai to Pune ON a BIKE, in that heavy rain, only to SEEK a JOB! 1n

I asked K(name) if he could stay the night, so I could make calls for him today. (As he came on a 2 wheeler in rains, he was v late). K was desperate, stayed & met me today. I started making calls.
K worked all his life in automobile sales so I called car dealership owners. 2n

I called all the BIG BOYS who have the BIG CAR dealerships. K drew Rs 1lac in his last job at a Hyundai dealership as a manager & now jobless since Jan 2020. He has his house EMI to pay. Not one dealer is hiring. They are all downsizing. I told them give him 40%
All said NO! 3n

I am tweeting this #Thread is because there are NO JOBS today in most sectors.
Be kind to people, try to help them & speak more about our economy. We are in a mess economically.
