First off let me just start with a disclaimer
I did not enjoy living in the UK and I have lived in around 15 different countries since
These are just my opinions
It doesn't mean I am right or wrong

Let us start off with being a kid
You wake up in the freezing cold, you get on your bike in the dark to go to a depressing school, with terrible GMO school food only to return home in the dark to do a ton of homework that is really not necessary
The weather stops most activites

God knows why
But the UK has a terrible bullying culture at school
One of the worst I have ever seen in all my travels
UK Schools look more like jails sometimes
Fighting, non stop abuse for some
God knows what its like now with social media
I prey for them

It is horrifyingly bad
I remember as a kid even during the summer holidays most outdoor things would end up getting cancelled

When I was a kid all the foreign kids used to say "man the food is so bad"
As soon as I began travelling I understood it
It has a few good dishes (roast dinner) but really it is terrible

Once they go back they can instantly taste the difference in the food

Our tastebuds have been robbed from us by microwave trash, fast food and steroid long life goods that don't perish

The UK has one of the most bizarre drinking cultures I have ever seen
There is a drink or be left out culture
People begin drinking young and it becomes their identity somehow
"get the drinks in lads yeh" is a non stop obsession that I never understood

Uk DESTROYS the middle class with Tax
The elite obviously find loopholes but as you can see the tax bracket for income tax very quickly goes up to 40%
That is almost half your year working to kick up cash to the gov and the Queen

Dating is also a strange one in the UK
It very often revolves around booze and going out a lot more than other countries does
I definitely view my UK friends as less happy with their love life than my Latino friends
(Could be just my view though)

Finally - Quality Of Life
I have lived in many countries
and if Jose who earns not much money in Brazil has
- Better quality food
- Better dating life
- Access to natural water sources
- Organic veg
- Fresh fruit
- Real meat
Isn't that weird?
