Here are the top 25 contributors to climate breakdown, in terms of emissions in excess of the safe planetary boundary (350ppm). Thanks to @huzaifazoom for the graphic.
If you're wondering where China and India are, they are still within their safe fair-share of the emissions boundary. This data goes only through 2015, however, and it is likely that China will overshoot this year. For nations that are still within their fair-shares, this doesn't mean that they do not need to cut emissions. They must (esp. China), or we're doomed. But global North countries must do it *much faster*, given their disproportionate contributions to climate breakdown.
