modesty is not all or nothing; the more you cover, the better - your ultimate goal should be to properly adhere to the standards of dressing set by the sharia but don’t let that discourage you from dressing more modestly now!!!

shirts/tunics:
- wear them w (preferably loose) jeans and not leggings
- the longer the better but make sure it at least covers your butt/mid thigh
- (imma keep it real before y’all spend money) depending on your body type, they can make you look fatter than you are

so buy tops that are made to be more flowy (pls enjoy my artistic talent) at the bottom - they also aren’t tight at your waist so it won’t make you look fat or highlight your body if you have a smaller waist

jeans:

- if you’re transitioning from normal clothes to more modest ones jeans are probably gonna be a staple
- i know you probably look SOOO good in them (if you snap me in them there’s a 100% chance i’ll ask for you dad’s number;))) but skinny jeans aren’t a good idea :(

- straight/boyfriend/flare jeans are better options
- mom jeans make your butt look big but as long as you cover it you should be fine

skirts:
- skirts > pants
- as cute as they are, silk/rib knit/jersey skirts aren’t a hijab friendly option (unless you’re skinny or wear them with a shirt/blouse that covers your butt) because it highlights your butt & thighs lol

- with that being said, pleated/flare/polyester/rayon skirts are your best bet!!! here are some examples <33
