Non-event childhood memories that for some reason stay with you. Your dad was building a snowman. You were peeling corn at age 7. A girl said something wry in the schoolyard. Something you saw on TV stirred an emotion? Sound off in the comments!
The point is these memories are mundane, there's no particular reason why they should linger.
I swear to God, my earliest memory is CRAWLING towards my parents as a per-verbal, pre-standing baby. They are young, floor level, with big encouraging smiles and nods. Their smiles tell me I am achieving excellence, which is why I remember it. Convinced this is real.
That's not the kind of mundane memory I'm talking about, it's a milestone tied with pride, but I'm throwing it out there. Anyone else have (an ostensible) memory this early?
