Pan-Pacific Auditorium, a thread.
Pan-Pacific Auditorium was built in 1935 on Beverly Bl in Los Angeles. It was a beautiful representation of Streamline Moderne architecture.
The auditorium was declared a Historical Landmark in 1978.
Although this beautiful building was a landmark, it had been abandoned. Left to decay.
There were some talks of restoring and repurposing this auditorium. Perhaps an ice rink or cultural center.
Unfortunately, the Pan-Pacific Auditorium was destroyed in a fire in 1989.
Negligence of an iconic, beautiful and historical landmark led to its death.
