One has to be absolutely DUMB to buy that everything is rosy in Kashmir for minorities. The THREAD highlights some basic things that minorities face in Kashmir but don’t play victim card like majority community of Kashmir. Wire, Washington post don’t talk about it but I will.

It breaks my heart to see that flag bearers of India in Kashmir are not given equal rights & now even their language has been taken away from them. About 73 Sikh girls have gone missing in Kashmir till date & NOONE talks about it for the sake of Kashmiriyat. No Justice for Sikhs?

There have been over 260 extra judicial killings of Sikh boys & men in Kashmir. No 1 knows about the disappearing Sikh men. Sikhs have been equal victims of terrorism in Kashmir & govts at State & centre have been silent on atrocities on Sikhs. This talk is not encouraged at all

It is a joke that mere 1.87% and we don’t get the minority rights in Kashmir but Muslims being in higher numbers in India get those rights

Removing article 370 pained some people so much because it would guarantee equal rights to Sikhs of Kashmir & Hindus Of JK.

Talking about rehabilitation of Sikhs who moved from villages to Cities due to terrorism, nothing has been done for them by dynasts Of Kashmir as well as Centre govt since 1947. Sikhs have managed to stand up on their feet without any support from govts at state and centre.

As a matter of fact people even go to the extent of saying that migration never happened. I most certainly believe that there can be a better time in history of Indian politics to uncover the truth of Chittisinghpora Massacre. I urge the governor administration to set up SIT or a time bound commission to bring out the real culprits of the massacre.

There can be no better time to address the Sikh grievances by setting up a TRC for 1984 Delhi Sikh genocide as well. The post is just an eye opener for everyone who thinks that Sikhs of Kashmir have nothing to complain about. We live in Chardi Kala & believe in systems, but it is absolutely sad that even the govt that we thought would care about us is playing deaf to our demands so far.

The majority community in Kashmir has always foul cried about some exclusivity that is bestowed upon them by virtue of dynasts. Addition of other languages in official language list has pained them & they say that exclusiveness of Urdu is lost.

Gov admn makes changes in its structure & they foul cry that exclusivity to bureaucracy is lost.

Even pain is exclusively theirs, I’m sure you haven’t heard these stories of Sikhs from kashmir because majority has copyright on pain as well with their mouthpieces in Delhi.

Nothing has done more damage to Sikh progress than Nehruvian politics forwarded by dynasts who have acted as mere pawns. Be it Punjab, Delhi or Kashmir, Sikhs have been assumed to be non contenders in anything major under left liberals.

I urge governor Sahib @manojsinha_ & @HMOIndia to consider fair representation of Sikhs in politics of JK. I request for inclusion of punjabi in state official languages as well as inquiry into the disappearances of Sikh youth over the years.
