Maybe is just the hotels I stay in, but there’s a disconnect between govts/tourism boards floating 14-day hotel quarantine for inbounds like it’s no big deal & the reality of what it would be like. I’ve stayed in thousands of hotels & could name less than 5 I’d do quarantine in.

Off top of my head, and assuming I’m not paying lol, Front Page in KL, Penh House in Phnom Penh, l’Petite Kepa in Alor (happily do 140 days there) & Loy La Long in Bangkok. But yeah, hard sell.

So it’s one thing if you’ve got the coin for a 14-day stay in a politically connected second tier luxury resort, but for normal people, it ain’t all that appealing. Have you seen the room service prices?! Maybe it could be a 14-day fast as well to keep costs under control!
