These are my thoughts on Mikasa. Scroll, I beg of you
Mikasa is a strong(mentally and physically), independent and obviously caring character. The end.
People have this misconception that character development is required for a character to be good but some characters just don’t need development.
Mikasa’s role is obviously to fight and she’s there for her friends. That’s it. She doesn’t need to be this overly complicated or sophisticated character with layers of personality like people try to make her out to be. She’s ok as she is
I would agree that there are a lot and I mean a lotttt more characters with more intriguing personalities but that doesn’t necessarily make her a bad character
Her silence to me doesn’t mean that she doesn’t care but I believe she prefers to give people she thinks will have smart ideas a chance to speak
