#WalkAway "June 2016 I voted for Bernie in the primary. Partly as a statement against Hillary, partly because Bernie had been consistent with his message. I didn’t believe in the socialist ideals, but I respected what I saw as integrity & honesty. I really thought he’d get

1/
the nomination for the democratic ticket.

Then the democrats stole the nomination & handed it to a Clinton, interesting establishment choice.

I thought Trump was a joke. After the elegant speeches of Obama, Trump’s ramblings made my ears bleed. When it came time to vote

2/
for president I voted third party. I couldn’t get behind the ‘lesser of two evils’ theory. & really, I didn’t have respect for any politician. They were all corrupt.

I disengaged from politics for the next few years until covid. The whole plandemic didn’t sit well with me.

3/
I saw the loss of personal freedom and how big government was completely disregarding the constitution - especially in my home state of Commifornia ( #Recallgavin2020).

Small businesses and struggling mom-n-pop stores couldn’t open, but retail giants could? The virus would

4/
get you at church, but not at protests? If you wore a mask you were virtuous, if you didn’t you were a grandma killer. Elders would die alone, but lavish funerals could be held to honor criminals? Teachers unions demanded to defund the police before they’d go back to work?

5/
The whole thing was ludicrous.

The turning point for me was when Trump started talking about HCQ. My mom has Lupis, I knew about this safe & effective drug, she had taken it for many years. I couldn’t understand why the media was demonizing it just because Trump endorsed it

6/
Then I got censored on FB for posting valid research about HCQ, and how it could potentially save lives. Say what??! Are we still in the land of free speech?

That was my rabbit hole.

I found out about MSM and the lies. The character assignation of people who did not

7/
participate in group-think. The complete, rabid, bias of Never-Trumpers who believed he was racist/misogynistic/homophobic etc.

I still don’t like the personal attacks Trump does sometimes. I wish he’d stay off Twitter. He can be crass and unpolished. But his actions speak

8/
louder than words. I have seen one man continue to fight for America, even when it seems like the whole world is against him. He puts America first.

The RNC was when I made my final decision. I watched patriotic Americans talk about how much they loved their country. & so

9/
do I. This president is more anti-establishment than Bernie, and more freedom-loving than any politician I’ve seen in my lifetime.

I really believe there is one person standing between communism and freedom in the United States. And that is Trump.

10/
I am a registered independent voter who will be voting for Trump 2020 🇺🇸" - T.
