More wealth is created from doing less than doing more.. Hyper activity doesn’t equal $$$...
(This is a strange lesson to learn if you’re like me & didn’t grow up learning from rich parents)...
It would seem that hard work would pay off but sadly it’s not that simple.
Wealth comes from a combination of factors.
First of which is probably some “dumb luck.”
But the next biggest factor is knowing how to be in the right place at the right time. Not early and not too late.
This takes brain power and wisdom.
Both of which are accumulated BOTH from hard work over time (to hone the intuition)
But also through reading, study, mentors, the accumulated wisdom of others.
But the narrative (that I attribute to narcissism) is that it’s just hard work and hustle. It’s not.
Nothing as complex as wealth could ever be boiled down to one factor like “hard work.”
Hard work is more correlated than causative. Big difference.
