Arguably the most confusing war of all time.

Bulgaria ( @The_Ops_Room) held a grudge against Turkey ( @StrategyBin), and so it decided to act upon it. Bulgaria (a communist state and member of the Comintern) declared war on the Turkish Republic.

Turkey, a member of the Saadabad Pact alongside Romania, Iraq, Iran, and Afghanistan promptly opened hostilities against the Comintern. Successfully launching invasions into the Southern USSR. This success was short-lived. In Eastern-Thrace Turkish forces held.

Before the war, the United States, France, and the United Kingdom had all signed non-aggression and defensive pacts with Turkey, and so, as hostilities began, they declared war.

Launching countless naval invasions of Bulgaria (oh yeah, the entire US fleet was in the black sea).
So, the wars on. Western Turkey is free from conflict entirely. To the east, a very slow Soviet advance is taking place, stopping way east of Ankara. The stalemate begins as French, American, and Commonwealth troops reinforce all Saadabad Pact nations.

This stalemate is only broken when the newly reformed Greek Monarchy declares war on Turkey after Italy declares war on Greece, (odd, I know, but @Henry_1874 is special). This allows Greece to join the allies, from there the allies then declare war on Turkey (bar France).

So now, a third of all defensive forces in Turkey are now enemy and leave Turkey. Only France remains.

As you'd expect, Germany and Italy successfully capitulate France and so the vast majority of French units collapse.

Leaving Turkey wide open.

And that's where my story ends, courtesy of a game crash.
In the end, Bulgaria was fighting the Allies, the Saadabad Pact, and the United States.

Turkey was fighting the Allies, the Comintern, and the United States.

The Kingdom of Greece was fighting the Axis, the Allies, the Comintern, and the Saadabad Pact.
