You know, I didn't want to weigh in on this one, except I feel too many people are missing the point.
From what I've heard, "Mignonnes" is one of those "The medium is the message" things, in that the point of the film isn't the content of it (which is bad), but that such a film not only got made, but got picked up and heavily promoted by the world's biggest streaming platform.
I'm given to understand the film creator's point was to test a hypothesis she had about the elite in society. She's from a scientific background, after all.
And also Senegalese background. She knew damn well that if she tried to make a film like that in Senegal, people would stop her, to the point of violently stopping her, if that is what it took.
She suspected that French society lacked those social safeguards and boy was she proven correct, not just about French society but Western society at large.
She proposed "Let's make a film about a bunch of tweens making a sexually provocative dance troupe" and not only did people not try to stop her, they threw money and support at her to do exactly that.
Again, the existence of the film implies severe and disturbing social issues.
