We all know basketball is a game of runs, and the Celtics went on quite the run during the final moments of Game 6 but somehow still came up short - thanks to some bum calls on behalf of the officiating crew.
I'm usually the last one to blame referees for a loss, but they completely blew that game in the fourth quarter. The assault on Kemba Walker driving to the paint, Daniel Theis’ “shoulda-been” three-point play and the confusion of a Toronto timeout while a jump-ball is called.
Let’s hope they’re better tonight. There is no doubt in my mind that the Celtics will close this series out tonight. Tonight will be the first step in the coronation of Jayson Tatum being labeled “elite”.
BURNING QUESTIONWill the Celtics show up in the third quarter?
Face it, the Celtics SUCK in the 3rd quarter. For the series, they have been outscored 183-146 in Q3 Sloppy play, turnovers, and poor match-ups have led to blown leads or letting the Raptors walk back into games.

KEYS TO THE GAME:
3) EARLY LEAD - The Celtics have made up for their poor play in Q3 by playing outstanding in the 1st quarter. They’ve outscored the Raptors 177-142 in the first quarter alone and 329-269 in the first half. A first half lead has become the norm.

2) The Paint - Attack! Attack! Attack! The Celtics have done a great job penetrating the paint against a Raptors team known for protecting it. They have scored 246 points in the paint so far this series.
Most importantly, attacking the paint has led to several key Raptors players getting into early foul trouble. It also will create free throw opportunities for the Celtics, who are shooting 82.6% from the charity stripe.
1) THIRD QUARTER - The Celtics need to make sure they come out firing after halftime, as the break has appeared to kill their momentum. They did okay in Q3 of Game 5, but were still outscored 28-25 in that quarter. Maintaining any halftime lead is the biggest key to a Celtics W.

Celtics win 103 - 95 / Celtics (-154/-2.5) / Under (203.5)
