Thread of my honest opinion of the current united squad, along with expectation for the season:
De Gea - still clinging onto how he was under Jose and LVG, still makes world class saves but making 5-10 mistakes in the season is poor, shame Ole didn’t take romero seriously, hopefully the threat of Henderson screws his head back on
Romero - would struggle to find 5 better keepers in the premier league, world best backup and shame he never got a run of games, robbed of both semi finals and could’ve got us to a final had he been given the chances, will most likely be leaving as 3rd choice would be insulting
Henderson - coming off a great season with sheff but being our keeper is a massive step up, definitely should offer threat to de gea, but with DDG’s wages I don’t see Hendo starting, really can’t call how it’s gonna end as both will want to start for their national teams
Grant - N/A, here as a last ditch option and clearly wants to be a coach, seems like a good bloke
Wan Bissaka - 7/10 first season, great tackler but needs to work on marking/awareness, improved on the ball but can improve further, hardly a hot take but I’d like to see him at RCB in a back 3, best 1v1 defender in the world, a few improvements off being one of the best RBs itw
