Are national reporters aware what's happening in Minnesota?

Because we have a Dem governor, the Senate is beheading state agencies one by one, knocking off commissioners once a month as an act of sabotage. Today they're removing the Commerce Commissioner. https://twitter.com/Stowydad/status/1304497580659871748
We have the nation's only divided legislature, so it's a pretty good preview of how the federal government will work if Biden wins but the Senate stays Republican.
There's no real pretense this is about anything other than punishing Democrats for having the temerity to govern - refusing to allow anything but one-party rule.

Last time this happened, with the labor commissioner, the House GOP leader described it as "executing a prisoner."
The commissioner being removed today is a former professor of mine, actually, and is the most uncontroversial, level-headed guy you'll ever meet. He also regulates the state insurance industry - pretty important in a pandemic! None of this matters. Pure legislative terrorism.
There is actually a very good chance of flipping the MN Senate. The GOP only has a two-seat majority, and ten GOP senators are running in districts won by our current Dem governor last election. https://twitter.com/notjefft134/status/1304517833162924034
