Today @MPR is reaffirming their membership in that group. They fired Garrett using the classic tool of systemic corporate racism: the surgically selective application of technicalities.
They’re a public media company, ostensibly committed to the public good, with one solitary black host doing the only human thing with the airwaves during the protests. If they really valued that, don’t you think they’d have found a way to square things with the DMCA bots? COME ON
Saying you fired your only black host because there was a problem with the way he pushed the buttons on the console is the most mealy-mouthed, pathetic thing I’ve heard in a while.
