Recently listened to @PeterRQuinones on @FAGCAST. On it, they discussed a boredom with discussions about the nuances of libertarian theory. A lot of libertarians/abolitionists/voluntaryists/blahblahs are in a similar place right now. Why is this? (1/?)
Since most of us were taught, since birth, an absurd view of reality, inconsistent ethics, to live with cognitive dissonance, and an abusive view of our self worth, perhaps we need many years engaging the ideas of nonaggression for them to change the way we naturally think.
Once we reach this point, maybe our our interests naturally progress as our intellectual foundations become more firm.
Perhaps many of us are responding in a similar fashion to something in the culture or government actions that we're all experiencing.

One of my fears is that many of us are thinking in similar ways because we are consuming the same content. While this isn't necessarily bad, I do not like the idea of becoming a hivemind and losing individuality in our thinking.
