Every year a handful of youngsters enjoy breakout campaigns in the Premier League. With the new season upon us, we've hand-picked 11 players to exceed expectations and make their mark for their respective sides.

Brighton secured a work permit for Alexis Mac Allister in January, but the 21 yo was unable to really get going. That should change this year.

The Argentinian offers a dynamic, creative, goalscoring presence in the final 1/3, and should thrive in Potter's expansive system.
Brought into Palace's XI at the end of last year, Tyrick Mitchell goes into this season as first-choice LB.

Mitchell is calm in possession, a confident dribbler out the back, and dynamic in attack. He joins the likes of Eze + Ferguson in the dawn of a new era for Palace.
Another who broke into the first team post-covid break, Anthony Gordon could have a very exciting 20/21. Ancelotti has taken a liking to the midfielder, who often drifts in from the left. He's a progressive/creative dribbler, thrives between the lines, and has an eye for a pass.
While the likes of Saka and Martinelli recently enjoyed breakout seasons, Reiss Nelson has still yet to really get going at Arsenal. This season could prove to be make or break for the Englishman, but we expect him to finally make his mark under Arteta.
Leeds' signing of Man City's Ian Poveda raised eyebrows in January, but he failed to break into the side - that should change this season. The diminutive winger is a strong dribbler capable of playing on both flanks, very technical, and possesses super quick feet. One to watch.
Most will remember Curtis Jones for his screamer vs Everton in last season's FA Cup, but we now expect him to make his mark in the PL. The 19 yo is a creative, goalscoring threat from midfield, loves roaming the final 1/3, and picks up smart positions between the lines.
We're big fans of Ampadu, and we're also big fans of his move to Sheff Utd - as long as Wilder plays him. Comfortable both at CB and in midfield, the Welshman is an accomplished passer, strong in the tackle, reads the game well, and a leader. A man beyond his years.
Newcastle have made some smart signings so far (Wilson + Fraser), but Jamal Lewis is the most astute of the lot. Strong defensively, loves to attack, and a great crosser, the left-back has the potential to be one of the best in the league, and at 22, will only get better.
Hassenhuttl looks to be forming an exciting team at Southampton, and new CB Mohammed Salisu should be at the forefront of that.

The Ghanaian was one of the best defenders in La Liga last year, impressing with his reading of the game, strength in the tackle, and aerial ability.
Tanganga broke into Mourinho's side last season, but we expect him to really make his mark in 20/21. The 21 yo is comfortable anywhere across the back line, a confident, assertive defender, and seems to thrive on the big stage. The sky is the limit.
West Ham fans were furious at their club for selling Grady Diangana to West Brom, and for good reason. The winger hugely impressed on loan at WBA last season, showcasing his dynamic dribbling ability, willingness to drive at the back line, and a very dangerous left foot.
