So let's talk about money.
I'm sure you'll agree that some people are willing to harm you for money, even for what little you carry in your wallet or purse. What more might they be

4/willing to do to gain and protect millions, even billions of dollars?
The pharmaceutical industry makes billions of dollars every year off of sickness and disease. And look at how many ads they put on TV and in magazines. How much money do you think they spend on advertising?

5/Do you think that makes up a majority of the revenue for the 6 major companies that control 90% of the media we consume? Do you think the owners of those companies would be willing to risk losing that revenue, particularly when they also sit on the boards of drug companies?

6/They would lose money at both ends if they didn't ensure that the media kept people buying drugs, regardless of how harmful they might be. What about our elected officials, you ask? Shouldn't they be protecting us from things like this?

7/heavily regulated industry, and for good reason. It literally holds people's lives in it's hands. So it should also come as no surprise that BigPharma spends millions of dollars annually on lobbyists. After all, they need to make sure that government regulations don't cut too

8/deeply into their profits. And if they can manage to swing some regulations that hurt their competition(alternative medicine), all the better. "Oh, and let's make sure nobody can come sue us if they get hurt by one of our vaccines, okay?" Just smart business, right???

9/Now when they're spending so much time and money on lobbying, they're going to want the most bang for their buck. Those officials most "sympathetic" to their "cause" will become readily apparent, and become assets to the company. Assets are protected and maintained so that they

10/hold their value. And if it just so happens that there's a media mogul on the board of directors, what better way to protect a political asset and ensure their reelection than by keeping any negative publicity under wraps. "Pay no attention to the man behind the curtain."

Combine this with the self-preservation tools government officials already have at their disposal(surveillance, bureaucratic harassment and intimidation, smear campaigns, etc.), and
