Summed up these thoughts from one of Jiddu Krishnamurthi's talk:
Suffering is a resultant selfishness! The I in me , the me, the mine and the thought that I'm the only who is suffering is why we all feel miserable.1/n

The self pity, we have is one more reason for the suffering.accept that suffering is universal, you're not the only one..being selfless is one reason to overcome suffering!! 2/n
We have certain perceptions about things. A flower, for eg. Flower to some is rose for some it's fragrance, for some it's memories with his gf or his mom.. It's different for different people. You learn to see things by unseeing it. You see a flower but with no prior ideas 3/n
You see the flower but you have no notions or memories nor do you see it with any preconceived ideas. You just see it as a flower and nothing else. Same implies to people and things. You stop perceiving them with their name or status or any image of theirs 4/n
