I literally can’t think of ONE REASON why it’s not a good idea to stop reading and revering men who wrote books on The King of all KINGS, but lived every day owning human beings and were totally okay with it. Living as if they deserved that kind of power, and yet told everyone
else how to be an amazing humble man of God. Never working your own home, but black, precious, scarred hands serving your table? Instead of inviting them to sit while you serve? Because that is the actual call of the man of God. Your scarred hands serving.
No SBC. We can and should be the example of doing better, since we know better.
