Not saying Harden was good, but why does everyone forget how boxscores work ?

You get fouled = shot doesn't count.

The same way Dirk didn't really took only 15 shots in 2011 when he went 48 pts (12/15 + 24/24 FT), 2/11 doesn't tell the whole story about Harden.

I mean *20* FT https://twitter.com/knarsu3/status/1304254013819494400
You can argue Harden :
- wasn't good enough
- should move off the ball more
- wasn't proactive enough
- didn't try enough
- is to blame 100%
etc.

But the "2/11 FG" argument as in "he only took 11 shots and only made 2" to state Harden was bad is misleading and simply not true.
Again, not saying Harden was good. In fact not saying *anything* about his performance.

But 2/11 litterally doesn't tell the whole story.

I mean, should he had avoided contact/fouls in order to attempt more shots just so we could then say "ok 25 shots, star-caliber, he tried" ?
Per @cleantheglass Harden scored 1.00 Points per Shot Attempt in G4.

Not good, especially for him (2nd best in the league this season behind KAT) but not catastrophic at all.

Caris LeVert was frequently under 1.00 in the Bubble, for example.
