I don't know how to say this is a nice way, but while the memory of 9/11 is probably something I will never forget, the impact of it on me is completely destroyed by the war on terror, and the fact that the current pandemic has killed 66x more Americans.

By making villains out of brown people in 2001, yet not making villains out of the inept, delusional, and downright malicious government officials (including Trump), it just further exposes America's systemic racism.

I'm perpetually disgusted by people who want to wave the flag and say "never forget" about 9/11 but continue to downplay the deaths from COVID and only care about reopening the economy and lifting lock-downs.
Currently, every 3 days America experiences a 9/11, death wise
