I'm starting to think that the devalue of medic ninjutsus in this fandom has nothing to do w/ it being boring to the Shounen audience who expect fights and action in almost every moment.

This devaluing seems to be more linked to the fact that this art ninja is one of main's Sakura techniques. Otherwise, we wouldn't see too much ppl ignoring all cannon proof/evidences in how Sakura is a special medic even among those medics who are praised by their talent

as Shizune and Chiyo, and still, they want this "boring" art ninja to their faves and have the audacity in stating as a fact that their faves could have been a even more skilled medical ninja than Sakura if they were trained by Tsunade, too.

And, again, it's not true, Shizune herself contradict this lame argument.
