Seeing as we're all talking about Brexit again. A reminder that the "points-based system" for migration is an absolute fundamental attack on the working class.
Many migrants are the working class. They are not opposite or apart. One and the same. The government is explicitly saying the working class has no value to our communities or society, that they do not deserve to move, travel or work abroad.
And when the government reduces protections for working class migrants, they reduce protections for all the working class. they empower exploitative employers, undercutting of wages and discrimination in the workplace.
they are bolstering "rich" jobs and rich people. the rich get everything for free. they are increasing the disparity between the classes. waging a war between "high" and "low" - tearing our communities further apart.
