Love the idea that it's cleverly pastiching gender roles if you're a man, but if you're a woman it doesn't count because you're only copying the men who are cleverly pastiching your gender role. For your commentary on gender to be valid, a penis is required.

I feel like this really speaks to an idea I can't quite put my finger on, of men being the only ones with subjectivity and insight. Women perform femininity just because DUH, they're dumb women- they can't possibly have insight into it or complex thoughts about it!
A sort of similar vibe to how people react when middle aged women hear the definition of 'non binary' and say 'but that's me': no, stop being stupid, you can't possibly understand, you're a boring woman, I get to define myself in relation to you, stay in your box
