It was in June that the floodgates to smartphone launches opened up. It's September and we have an endless stream of new phones coming.
Can someone share some stats to how many sales have actually occurred in these past few months?

Literally flooding the market makes no sense if the market itself isn't ready for it and there aren't that many consumers. I understand the need for online classes and WFH, but surely that number can't be in sync with the launches that are happening right now!

Of course, I could be wrong, coz I don't have any sales figures in front of me. A brand saying "XYZ was the best selling phone" makes no sense unless you tell us how many units it legit sold!
