You wanna know how I know that's the fucking case? Because I had no fucking idea who the fucking director was when I first saw the fucking vomit-inducing poster for it, and my perspective on it didn't budge a single fucking inch one way or the other upon finding out.

Objectively, the movie has multiple shots where the camera is centering on children's asses and crotches. Objectively, similar shots of adult actresses are criticized for pandering to the male gaze. Objectively, there are plenty of pedophiles out there who will get off on this.

The theme of the movie, the intent of the director, can be whatever the fuck the director says it is, and subjectively, I'm not turned on in the least by the camerawork, for I am not a pedophile, but objectively, the movie's camerawork does sexualize children.
