The Pantheon is an unrealized project of the memorial tomb of the Soviet leaders in Moscow. The decision to create the Pantheon was made after Stalin's death in 1953. The project involved the transfer of the remains of Lenin and Stalin from the Mausoleum.
The decision to build the Pantheon was never executed. Its fate may be connected with the turning point of Stalinist architectural projects after Stalin's death, and with the official condemnation of Joseph Stalin, whose body was removed from the Lenin Mausoleum in 1961
