philosophy of education 12 week twitter seminar begins here

6 readings over 12 weeks

readings are open access, meaning they are available freely on the internet

please retweet as widely as you care to

reading list and other details below
I've selected 6 readings to use as the basis of discussions beginning from Friday 18th September. We will spend two weeks with each reading (I initially suggested a reading per week but I think this will be hard for people - including myself - to keep up with)
To my mind, these are some of the most clearly written, compelling, and thought provoking texts on subjects central to philosophy of education that I have come across. Note that I suspect few of the authors of these texts would identify themselves as 'philosophers of education'
For now, you are welcome to get started reading these texts, and share the seminar details.

I will provide a framework for discussion around the first text on 18th Sept.

I hope you enjoy reading these texts with me.
