When I moved to USA I was amazed to see the love for the country. I used to wish that we in India learn to flow our flags high across every street, that we cheered our Jawans. My wish for India is slowly coming true but America is busy rioting and blaming the country.
It changed fast here with all the communist red flags. With the riots across the country. Refusing to stand up for the anthem. Blaming the country for everything bad and evil. It changed fast as soon as the red flags came into the universities.
There are riots across the country. They are burning buildings, looting stores, attacking cops. All thaa started as soon as the left started taking control over the young mind. There is a lesson for you here India. In 2 decades they taught them to hate the country they loved.
I was fresh out of the boat and soon 9/11 happened. I was amazed at the unity. How everyone lined up to help, with food, water, blood to donate, hope to give. What happened in 20 years? They brainwashed and America forgot?
This is an emotional rant because I fell in love with a hope that one day India will also learn to be proud, learn to stand up for the flag with their hand proudly on the heart. But this world scares me. Scares me that brainwashing can change everything.
From my adopted land I can hope and pray that my motherland does not fall prey to the same propaganda, and we save our young mind from this toxic brainwashing. I hope and pray that my adopted country wakes up and regains its lost sense.
911 remains an extremely emotional day for me, 19 years on. I saw the world change in front of me, and I do not think I have recovered from that shock. But when I see America burning with hate now I worry about the virus that has infected the youth. #NeverForget911
