Based on all of my readings on the topic of aliens, here’s where I think they all point: the “terrifying reality” no one wants to discuss is Others working to thwart a nuclear apocalypse that they think is probable, not but mandatory—it’s something that can be changed. 1/
It’s not just for our benefit—something about it affects Them as well, either in a physical or metaphysical sense.
Some percentage of the people “in the know” believe this apocalypse heralds the return of Jesus, and they’re working to foment rather than prevent it. 2/
Others are doing their best to keep it from happening, and are working globally to communicate in the hopes it can be avoided.

1) I’m not endorsing this determination, just discussing it.
2) Even if it’s what the Others are telling people, that doesn’t mean it’s the truth. 3/
I’ve explored all kinds of crazy ideas, from fairies to angels to Bigfoot, and my guess is that they’re all the same damn thing. They all exist(ish), they’re all related, and they’re so far outside of our understanding that trying to ascribe motivations or behavior is pointless.
A few things are EXTREMELY likely IMHO:
1) Everything that exists is connected to some degree.
2) Some practices, such as remote viewing or psychedelics, make that connection much more apparent.
3) The sooner we realize this the better off we’ll be: What hurts one, hurts all.
Everyone should read and internalize The Egg by Andy Weir. I think it was a work of literal inspiration, and contains a fundamental truth in some form.
