Here is what I know:
1. we produce enough food to feed the world and yet people go hungry.
2. we produce a tremendous amount of "product" that gets landfilled almost immediately.

3. White Europeans (and their descendants) have tried to solve the problems they faced from ecological constraints with expansion for 500 years. It hasn't really worked. It led to the premature deaths of billions, enslavement, two world wars.
4. It's caused climate change. So hear me out, why don't we try something new? Why don't we try *living* within our ecological limits. Lots of cultures have before white europeans enslaved or otherwise tried to eradicate them. Maybe they have something to teach us?
5. Stop turning to physical scientists with no other stated expertise to solve social problems. They can do math! Awesome! That doesn't mean they understand history, sociology, anthropology or economics (similar rule applies to economists)
(emphasis on no other expertise, there are some physical scientists that know a ton about these things, but they are clear about it!)
