The problem now, of course, was that we had one chance to get the lockfown right. One.

And we failed.

It was hard enough to get people to comply even when most of us were doing it and people were terrified of the virus.

Now would be next to impossible.

And this is largely because Don doesn't want us to have nice things. On one day the virus is real and very dangerous and the next the numbers are all fake and the whole thing is fake news.

Nearly everyday he says or does something provocative that helps this virus.

The schizophrenic way Trump has approached this pandemic has endangered the entire world and he should be held accountable.

He has spent time actively denying the existence of the virus.
Or he minimizes its range, numbers, or its dangers.
He ridicules safety protocols.

He ignores the advice of well meaning, articulate experts and spends hours pushing quack theories and white supremacist fodder on Twitter.

His lack of curiosity, laziness, paranoia, and lack of moral code have led to the worst public health failhres of our time.
