Day #31: Today I completed 1 month of the #100DaysOfCode challenge.

In this thread I'll share the most important things I learned from it so far.

I hope these tips can help you to get the most out of your 100 days challenge.

1️⃣ Work In Public

Sharing your progress and what you've done and learned everyday has a lot of benefits:

▪️ It can help you build an audience interested in what you're doing
▪️ It forces you to be consistent

▪️ It creates a detailed log of your work so you can look back and see how much you've evolved
2️⃣ Get Out Of Your Comfort Zone

Don't choose to work on easy things. Make these 100 days a real challenge by trying things that are difficult for you.

Some days you will be frustrated because you can't solve a programming problem or can't understand a concept you're studying.
Don't give up. That's a good sign. That's when real learning happens!

Just try again on the next day. You will succeed for sure.
3️⃣ Have A Plan

Plan what you want to accomplish during these 100 days.

It can be learning a new language or framework, build a project or something else you're interested in.

A simple plan can help you to focus and keep yourself on track.
4️⃣ Find Other People

Look for other people on twitter that are doing something similar to you.

You can learn a lot from them and also help them.
5️⃣ Just Start

Don't wait for tomorrow. If you want to do this challenge, start it now.

In just a couple of days you will start to gain momentum and produce a lot.
My progress so far:

▪️ I've worked a little more than 60h on my side project in the evenings and weekends

▪️ Learned more JS

▪️ Learned how to write basic compilers and interpreters
▪️ Started to code a small JS framework idea that I had on hold for months. This framework will help me to write more projects faster and, hopefully, help other people too

▪️ Got a more twitter followers

▪️ Found other people doing interesting things in their 100 days challenge
My plan for the next 70 days:

▪️ Finish the first version of the framework

▪️ Create a nice documentation and tutorials about how to use the framework

▪️ Find people that are interested to test it and get feedback and suggestions for future improvements
