These discrepancies are bothering a lot of us given the existing 5 million + “lost” data on “tests (supposedly) made available” v “tests processed” before DHSC changed their reporting methods and criteria (again).

THOUGHTS? https://twitter.com/_johnbye/status/1304123169662533638
In total then 65,709 tests hadn't give a result by the end of the week. Almost 10% of all the tests done.

➡️ And 19,745 tests from the previous week (3% of the total) STILL haven't given a result and probably never will now.

This is by far the worst performance so far.
Another great thread from @ADMBriggs really drilling into the Test and Trace report.

V excellent analysis of movement in positive, hospitalisations.

I have some questions about deaths but want to watch for another week or two. https://twitter.com/admbriggs/status/1304179872760291331
However there are still no answers as to whether the big black hole between people supposedly offered tests, tests processed and the number of people really tested is continuing to fill, just hidden in different reporting methods.
We cannot fix problems when we don’t know what has happened .

We cannot know what has happened when reporting fields are a moving target.
