Has been SUCH a pleasure to organize this miniconference with Alison Post, @MedianVoter & @Mar_tinW, and wouldn't have been possible without the support, time, and general awesomeness of our section chairs @anjalit2020 & @piaraffler. 8/
Is this what we anticipated when we set this conference up pre-COVID, a Saturday of Zoom? (All @APSAtweets panels now on Zoom - don't worry about the first few days' IT challenges, worked great today!) No. 9/
But I still can't wait to be part of as much of this as my eyes and bandwidth can handle. It's been 6 months for me, at least, with too little of what I love most about academic life - new ideas & inspiration from awesome, earnest, passionate folks. 10/
I hope, and think, this will be a day filled with cool new projects in whatever stage they've gotten to (given COVID and life disruptions etc.) with folks I'm honored to be in community with. So if you're free this Saturday, do join us if you can! (end)
