Let's see more claims in earlier articles. "If IAF shot down F16, show us radar tracks". IAF did. Silence. Evidence emerges, Abhi's downed Viper being 2 seater. KTs blog - edits galore of F16 S/Nos taking part in event. "PAF has better skills", poor BVR control = better skills.

"PAF was dominant". Sure, 6 Vipers vs 2 Su30s, 6-8 JF17s vs 2 Mirages. Bunch of the "best" BVR fired from height/speed advantage breaking ROE, and you cant score a single kill, wont close in either as you are afraid, get bounced by MiG21 Bisons and lose a Viper. "Dominance".

This after you run a scripted playbook with 6:1 odds against a mere 4 aircraft CAP and despite overwhelming local theater superiority - cant exploit it optimally, cant/wont convert it into a decisive advantage, lose a precious silver bullet Viper to a MiG21. Whose skill, exactly?

It would sure be interesting to see what happens in an actual conflict when the numbers are at parity, let alone overwhelming re: IAF vs PAF. Suspect the PAF will do a 71 on the western theater, or even a Kargil again "reserving forces for strategic reasons, COAS sir".

Let's see what happened before/ after Feb 27th.
Before: JF17s go up vs Su30s. Result: on Feb 27th, F16s sent up vs Su30s not JFs
During: JF17s cant even fire on Mirages. F16s fire on Su30s, repeatedly miss, Su30 gets danger close. F16 lost to Bison. Unbeatable PAF, sure.

Then let's see what happens post Feb 27th. India IDs gaps - orders/indents new gen AAMs for Su30s/continues datalinking program etc.
PAF: Our JFs are so superior etc goes on canvassing for missile/radar upgrades for the platform. Kyon bhai? After all, they were perfect, no?

Cant do diddly for the F16 because, well America holds the strings. JF is all there is. But think. JF w/3 Fuel Tanks and 2x BVR + 2x WVR vs a Su30 "clean" but for 6-10 AAMs. Even keeping EW out, that's 3x the JF warload w/Su30s to chase down and hunt if initial salvos go awry.

So the JFs were sent to face off vs the Mirages with overwhelming numbers. Even there, couldnt lock on or get a firing solution. Of course KT wont touch any of these aspects, after all, PAF ijj da best, makes no mistakes. I'd take the circumspect IAF, which fixes issues, anyday.

And on that day a lady Sq Ldr monitored the entire situation, gave cues to M2Ks, Su30s, Bisons as they maneuvered via IAFs command & control network. KTs comments paraphrased : "panicked woman shrieking voice" . Very logical analysis indeed. IAF, awarded the officer. Maturity.

And I havent even brought the Rafale or S400 into the picture yet. The manner in which he's trying to buck up the Pak audience is palpable. But, "you are entitled to your claims for bucking up the home audience dear sir, but not entitled to claiming these as facts".
